Our Zwolle shop commenced operations in 1975 and is generally acknowledged as one of the preeminent contract railcar shops in the U.S. Located near Toledo Bend, just East of the Texas border with Louisiana, Millennium's Zwolle shop has a 35-acre facility with capacity to handle approximately 280 railcars at any time.

Zwolle's biggest asset is its people who are highly trained and dedicated, having won numerous awards for quality and service from some of the largest multinational companies in the area - Union Carbide Corp., DuPont and Allied Signal, among others.

Zwolle has the following facilities and capabilities: a repair shop capable of servicing 40 railcars under roof; interior & exterior temperature-controlled paint facilities capable of servicing 30 railcars under roof; state-of-the art computerized hopper car interior grit blast system; on-site certified welding inspectors; high-bake tank car linings; 100% solids coating capability; on-site heat treating equipment; fiber optic inspections; certifications - M1003 tank car repairs, 9A roller bearing end cap, M214 complete truck rebuild, 1002 quality assurance, HM-201 tank car re-qualification.
